M. Maaz Arif retraces Prof. Dr. M. Arif Butt's footsteps at the University of the Punjab

Former Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, Engr. Prof. Dr. M. Arif Butt's fourth son, M. Maaz Arif, visited the University of the Punjab (July 2026) to honor his father's legacy. During the visit, he met with faculty members and reflected on Dr. Arif Butt's pivotal role in establishing and developing the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering and Institute of Quality and Technology Management. He also visited the Office of the Vice Chancellor where his father assumed charge as 53rd Vice Chancellor from Sep 2007 to Jan 2008.
